Why did you want to become an audiologist?
I started out in speech pathology, but it didn’t really click. I was considering a change to nursing when I took my first Audiology course in undergrad. I felt completely at home, loved the class, and decided that’s what I wanted. Never regretted it for a second!
What is your favorite area of audiology?
Ear wax! I love cleaning ears. Actually pretty much everything, I can’t pick just one aspect. At what office(s) do you work?
Liberty, Lee’s Summit, Warrensburg, and Clinton.
Now some fun questions! What’s your favorite television show?
Escape to the Chateaux - my new retirement plan is to buy a chateaux in France and turn it into an event space. Discounts will be offered to my friends and family!
If you could bring back any fashion trend, what would it be?
The elegant clothes of the 40s and 50s - love the structure and material and how everyone looked so beautiful.
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
As long as my kids and husband are with me, anywhere is fine. But if I really had to pick, either New Orleans or the Black Hills.
